The Global Journal 17

— Managing Editor

The seventeenth issue of The Global Journal contains a commissioned cover story by Antoine Harari and Thomas Epitaux-Fallott on the underground art scene in Tehran. Alongside my editorial role, I interviewed the digital pioneer and critic of the information economy, Jaron Lanier, and contributed a feature article entitled 'Are We Killing Higher Education?', which explores the precarious global expansion strategies of revenue-hungry universities against the backdrop of the introduction of massive open online courses (MOOCs).

This issue of the magazine also includes an interview with Julia Bacha, as well as contributions from Christopher Coker, Sara Schonhardt, and Michael Hanson.
