Sí/No: The Architecture of
— Guest Editor
Produced as a special anniversary edition to mark ten issues of SLUM Lab, this volume of the magazine also functioned as an in-depth catalogue accompanying the exhibition Sí/No: The Architecture of Urban-Think Tank, which has been presented in Zürich, at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, and as part of the Venice Biennale of Architecture.
Conceived as a curated anthology of Urban‑Think Tank’s published work dating back to 2002, the magazine includes essays, articles, book extracts, excerpts from out-of-print back issues, archival and documentary photo essays, as well as new contributions from Andres Lepik and Justin McGuirk. Beyond my editorial role, I also co-authored, with Alfredo Brillembourg and Hubert Klumpner, two featured essays: 'Radical Urbanism' and 'Scarcity as a Design Tool: Notes From the New Underground'. The latter was originally presented in a joint publication with Charles Waldheim for the Ecological Urbanism symposium in Santiago, Chile, organized by the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
